Samson&#39;s World.

Samson is a 19 year old Hip-Hop artist from Coventry, England. His original love was for football, he and his friends would often talk of how one day they would become football stars. Despite his love for the game, Samson had other inspirations and role models, Tupac Shakur is one of these. Better known by his stage name 2pac - the American rapper and actor who grew up in the East Harlem neighbourhood of New York City - Samson turned to 2pac's lyricism as a form of escape and comfort during certain points in his life. He put aside his football and picked up his pen and paper to take us on a journey of poetry and rhythm. Samson brings something a little different to the table as he raps about real life issues. In 2011 he released his debut mixtape 'The Playground' and received positive reviews.
'Beautiful Struggle' is his latest offering and is an eclectic mix of songs. It starts with 'One Moment Away' with it's soul, RnB sound and is followed by 'Lost Angels' where the beats seem to have an east versus west vibe but the lyrics talk about his life, feelings and family. 'Pose For The Photo' and 'Quiet Storm Freestyle' have a laid back sound that is reminiscent of the great Massive Attack whilst remaining fresh, new and original.
Samson is very good at his craft and clearly works extremely hard. He is talented beyond his years and surely has the potential to succeed in the music business. As he says in 'The Reign' "I get high off my own lines." I would definitely recommend downloading this mixtape.
